UEC Road European Championships taking place from 6th to 9th of August in Tartu, Estonia can be followed live via free web-broadcast with English commentary on home page of the UEC website.
Road European Championships will have four full race days with a total of eight events. On Thursday, best U23 and junior female cyclists will be crowned in time trial, on Firday, men will share their time trial medals in U23 and junior classes.
Saturday and Sunday are for road races. On Saturday, female riders in U23 and junior class will race and on Sunday men from the same age groups.
More than 30 countries are represented in the Road European Championships 2015. Local favorite is Estonian Martin Laas who won Tour of Estonia (UCI 2.1) at the end of May this year.
Road European Championships takes place in Estonia for the second time. In 2004 best young riders from Europe competed in Otepää.
The live web-broadcast of the event is co-financed by the European Union Regional Development Fund. Being a part of the bigger foreign marketing project of the event, the aim of the broadcast is to introduce Estonia and Tartu among the European cycling community as an attractive tourism destination and raise the number of foreigners visiting the region in the future.
