After launching the Cyclo-Cross European Cup last winter, the Union Européenne de Cyclisme will be offering the first edition of the Cyclo-Cross Youth European Championships on 16 November.
The event, to be held in Šamorín (Slovakia), will award a total of eight titles in the Men's and Women's categories in the 13, 14, 15 and 16 age groups.
This important innovation underlines the UEC's commitment to promoting all cycling disciplines, with a particular focus on young athletes, offering them new opportunities for growth and development.

Following the success of the MTB Youth European Championships, a high-impact event attended by over 800 young people from 35 countries every year, we are proud to continue along this path, always putting young people at the centre of our attention. Our aim is to encourage the development of all cycling disciplines, focusing on both historic and emerging disciplines, giving them the support and opportunities they need to grow.
We are convinced that other innovations and initiatives will strengthen the role of young people in European Cycling in the future.
