Noémi Molnár (Hungary) and Jordan Clark (Great Britain) are the new UEC BMX Freestyle Park European Champions following a thrilling weekend of racing in Darmstadt, Germany.
The 2026 UEC BMX Freestyle Park European Championships brought together 57 athletes from 18 countries, in front of a large crowd who followed the races and created a particularly lively atmosphere around the Darmstadt skatepark.
In the women’s final, Noémi Molnár (Hungary) secured her victory in the second run. Having scored 49.80 points in the first run, the Hungarian rider delivered a second performance of an exceptionally high standard, which the judges awarded 93.00 points – a score that saw her claim the European title.
Kitty Joseph (Great Britain) took silver with 89.84 points, scored in the first run, whilst Lillyana Seidler (Germany) won the bronze medal in front of her home crowd, improving her score in the second run from 85.30 to 86.12 points.
In the men’s final, however, it was Jordan Clark (Great Britain) who immediately put himself in a very strong position to win the title. In his first run, the Briton scored 94.00 points, a score that no one managed to beat and which earned him the European Champion’s jersey.
Arsenii Liubishkin (AIN) won the silver medal with 93.06 points, again achieved in the first run. Anthony Jeanjean (France), on the other hand, staged a fine comeback: the reigning World Champion, having scored 63.00 points in the first run, scored 91.80 points in the second, climbing back up to third place and winning the bronze medal.
The event in Darmstadt once again confirmed the growth and immense appeal of BMX Freestyle Park, a recent Olympic discipline that is spectacular and capable of attracting an ever-wider audience to cycling, particularly the younger generations.
